FAQ's:
Question: What is roleplaying (rp)?
Answer: In roleplaying, participants adopt and act out the role of characters that have personalities, motivations, and backgrounds. It can either be based off a book, movie, etc... or it can be entirely created by you.
Question: I'm a bit lost around here. What should I do?
Answer: Well if you wish to roleplay with any of us, or one of us in particular… it would probably be easier if you went ahead and registered. You can also post as a guest, but you would not have access to private boards, and your profile information, which includes your avatar.
Question: I can’t find the ‘post’ button so I can put up a board.
Answer: Click on the category you want to start your board in, then click, ‘Create Thread’ If you still don’t see this option, then it may be that you do not have access to create a board in that particular category.
Question: I’m confused. Why is there two ways to reply on the posts?
Answer: One is a quick reply option, which is something you can type off if you’re in a hurry. The ‘proper’ way to reply is by clicking the ‘reply’ option on the post you want to reply to. There, you will have access to fonts, image codes, link codes, etc.
Question: If I mess up on the post, then can I delete it, or is there a way to fix it?
Answer: Both. You can fix your post by clicking the ‘modify’ button on your post. You are also welcome to delete it as well, and you should have a ‘delete’ option on your post.
Question: I got my post down. How do I know when someone replies to me?
Answer: If you’re a registered member, you can bookmark your board so that it will send you a message whenever someone replies to your post. Or you can go with the easy way of simply checking back the forum every now and then. There is also a handy chat box on the left side of the page that allows you to keep in contact with your roleplayers.
Question: Do you have to register to use the chat box too?
Answer: Nope. Just put in a name you want, and type your message.
Question: How long does it usually take for someone to post?
Answer: That depends on the person, and what is going on in their life. Some posts can take two minutes, while others can take two months. Patience is vital and appreciated.
Question: I’m having problems changing my avatar. It’s not working.
Answer: Make sure that when you go edit your profile, that you delete the url of your old avatar image first. Then choose the avatar you want, leaving that space you deleted blank. If you have an avatar of your own, just replace the old link with the new one.
Question: It said on the forum that you were logged on, but suddenly, you disappeared!
Answer: From what I’ve observed so far, every time someone is typing a post, even though they’re logged on, the forum will state that you’re ‘offline’. Please do not fully rely on this information. If any of us have to go for whatever reason, we usually leave a message down at the chat box.
